Did you know Greyhounds only need three 20 minute walks a day? Built for speed, not stamina, a Greyhound will much prefer to curl up on a comfy sofa all day! Contrary to popular belief they actually need less exersize than most other breeds of dog.

Because of the unique build of a Greyhound they require to eat from a raised food bowl, it’s also important to remember not to give your hound too much exersize 1 hour before and after meals. Additionally, due to their long necks, Greyhounds require special collars. Greyhounds are more commonly know as the ’40 mph couch potatoes’. They prefer to eat and sleep! Remember also that due to their lack of body fat a coat is essential for those winter walks.
